HOW IT WORKS
First and foremost, ALL runners are welcome. Whether you're just coming off the couch or working towards an advanced marathon training plan, Tailored Strides is for you! Tailored Strides has a very simple approach to help you achieve your goals. Our plans foster success by focusing on three critical aspects of improving: accountability, consistency, and health. You will submit a desire to join in the ‘Sign Me Up!’ section, indicating which plan you want to sign up for. We will then reply back with a basic questionnaire. You'll submit the questionnaire which will establish your baseline fitness, goals and/or upcoming race(s). Once your baseline fitness has been established, you'll create a profile on Strava, a social media app for athletes. We can remotely monitor your progress through Strava as well as provide encouragement along the way. Each plan provides:

A proven approach -- methodical mileage building (health conscious)
Roughly 10% mileage volume increase each week
No commitment to lengthy contracts

The plans are framed around four types of intensities for simplicity. All runs will be completed at one of these four intensities: Recovery, Easy, Tempo, and Repeats. Recovery and Easy runs will account for roughly 60% of your weekly volume; Tempo or Repeats will account for roughly 10% of your weekly volume; and lastly, the Long Run will account for roughly 30% of your weekly volume.
